Nothing reminds me of or makes me happier in spring or summer more than fresh flowers. This season’s artistic blooms are in a variety of colors certain to match almost anyone’s taste, style and budget. Shop at Nordstrom or the Gap and you will find everything including jackets, sundresses, skirts, shirts, blouses and accessories galore. You may even catch some men’s floral print clothing if you look hard enough. Think swimsuits and the more stylish Hawaiian inspired shirts.

Of course, as we all know, floral prints are pretty subjective (kind of like oriental rugs) and you should choose the best prints for your body type plus skin tone. If you are petite or plus-sized, avoid the larger prints as they will make you look shorter and make you look larger. Have a feature that you are particularly fond of? Wear a floral print in that area as it will draw more attention. Pick the brightest color in your floral print and try to match your accessories to that for a very coordinated but stylish look. This will pull that bold color from your dress. Always only wear one floral print at time because the look can be too confusing otherwise.
