Don’t Let Them Bug You

During the summer months, insects fill the evenings with their songs. Cicadas, crickets and grasshoppers make their presence known this time of year, which means two things: inevitable frustration at your inability to find that one cricket that made it inside, and plenty of opportunities for your kids to turn that problem into a learning experience.

By searching outside during the evening and at dusk, kids will easily find these summer insects so that they can catch, observe and release them. All they need is a flashlight, some patience and this bug box.
