Am I the only one waiting with baited breath for this to open? I just loved the series and was so sad to see it end. It was just a great series about women relating to other women and the urban family.
I think that many people don't realize that singles really do create their own urban families until they have families of their own. I know it is something that always happens in the military and remember my single years when the people who were like family to me weren't related to me at all.
I also think it was a great educational program for men to learn about women and what we want from relationships.
Well, all of that and Chris Noth is a little on the dreamy side.
I'm with you, Lisa! I didn't get into Sex and the City when it was actually on HBO but I have watched the re-runs and became addicted to them. Now, I can't wait for the movie!!
I do agree with you about how single people sort of form their own little families - I remember doing that myself when I was single.
I was a late bloomer too. I only got HBO (and the time to watch it) about 3 seasons in. So I did a lot of catching up when they released the DVDs and started re-running.
I am so excited for the release of this movie. I wasn't a Sex & the City stalker while it was on either. Now I cannot get enough of the re-runs! (every single night as I am going to bed!)

Have anybody seen it yet? I typically wait till movies come on DVD unless it's a movie we can all go to as a family but might go see it when I go visit my best friend next month.
I actually just got done emailing my girlfriend about when we're going to go see this-I'm so excited! I so need a girls night out, and this will be perfect because we both loved the show I hope it's worth all the anticipation!

I plan on waiting till it is on DVD as well. I just really prefer watching movies in the comfort of my home so I can stretch out and be comfortable.... Now if they have movie theaters with couches or beds, that would be nice. haha
You know, it is so much nicer to watch at home. You don't have to pay exorbitant prices for popcorn, don't have to worry about sneaking in a bottle of water and you don't have to deal with some bozo behind you kicking your seat! (You can also pause the movie whenever you need to go to the bathroom.)
Oh, and did I mention that you don't have to hire a babysitter?
well, I saw it last night and it was GREAT Definitely a really fun girls night out (which I can't even remember when the last time was that I had one of those!)
I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but it was definitely worth watching and a really fun time
I hope it's worth all the anticipation!
