Have you ever read Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown? It's one of my children's favorite books.

Noelle, that was my favorite book as a child. I have read it to my own children over and over again. Good Night Moon is a classic!

I had no idea how much she had written that I liked. Runaway Bunny is another book. . .but she did several that my kids enjoy.

Goodnight Moon is a wonderful book - definitely a children's book classic. I always recommend it to people who are looking for a book for 2-4 yr olds - for the parents to read to their children of course.

I liked Runaway Bunny too.

Well I'll confess. . .I do love the book. . .but it's not the first I recommend. wink I'm a big huge Eric Carle fan too! wink And surprisingly all of my kids (including some toddlers) LOVE the book Flotsam. I'm not sure who the author is. . .I'll have to look it up.

No words but an incredibly intriguing story through pictures.

This was my son's favorite book when he was about three years old. We had to read it several times a day, especially at bedtime. After a while I would try to to persuade him to read other bedtime books but he would have nothing to do with that. After a while he did move on to other books and I have to say I started to miss Good Night Moon. It's a must read for all small children. grin

I recently wrote a Violin Concerto based on THE RUNAWAY BUNNY which you might enjoy. It's rather like Peter and the Wolf where the violin portrays the bunny. SONY released it with Brooke Shields doing the Narration and the Royal Philharmonic performing. I also just performed it at Carnegie Hall with Glenn Close narrating. Here's tha amazon link: The Runaway Bunny

I really love this book. It is a favorite of all three of my children. My sisters children love it as well.
