My big thing is textures. I love doing close ups of tree bark, moss, flowers, rocks. When I was in the Middle East I got some great photos of dried, cracking earth after the rainy season. It was really great stuff. I totally geeked out on it.
Lisa, sounds like we have lots in common when it comes to pictures. I love close ups of flowers, rocks, etc. I tend to take a lot of outdoor pictures. Now that I understand the settings on my camera, they tend to come out really well too.
I love taking pictures! My husband says I would photograph a rock. Then again, that's probably a moot point because I actually have. I take pictures of my children more than anything else, but am a big fan of scenic photography...lakes, mountains, grassy fields, flowers... Aside from that, I just like to photograph life...anything that will allow me to look back later on and relive or share an experience.
Coley, I am a major food photographer. I am always taking pictures of a finished creation or a step by step preparation. I write for another place and while my food photography is not as good as my nature photograph, I am getting better (it's still life and it's hard!) hehe
I love taking pictures of everything and have even set up a portrait studio (my own personal not a busines) in my garage. Thank goodness we cleaned it out several months ago!
Coley, I take food shots too! I keep telling myself I'm going to put together a little cookbook for myself and use the pics...maybe someday-lol!
By far, my daughter is my favorite subject to photograph. It's not so easy now that she's 2 and has developed a bad taste for mommy stalking her with the camera all the time!
I would have to say my favorite subject to photograph would be my kids. It is wonderful to capture their childhood on film. I also like to photography landscapes and scenery. I have found that they may great wall decorations when blown up and framed.
Ditto--I love photographing my kids! Although I have to admit, my spouse is a much better photographer than I am. he's really good at getting those sibling bonding moments.
