Get Your Hands On Science

The Arizona Science Center is not your ordinary museum: unlike the others, it has exhibits meant for touching, grabbing, shaking and pulling. It’s a place where kids and parents alike have the opportunity to explore their world through hands-on learning. There’s so much to do that your family could literally spend the entire day learning and exploring, all in the comfort of an air-conditioned building.
You can learn about anything from the forces of nature, like air and water, to the inner workings of the human body. You can also take an in-depth look at the creation of a house, examining its design, electricity, plumbing and more. Additional exhibits on music, the digital world and how we live with the sun are sure to spark your child’s curiosity.
Along with all the hands-on-learning exhibits, the Science Center has an onsite planetarium: it’s the only museum in the world to has a sophisticated NanoSeam dome. With this cutting-edge technology, you will be fully immersed in the imagery of the galaxy. The program takes you through space and time, showcasing the astronomical marvels of our Arizonan night skies.
