Decorate Beach Pails for Summer Fun

Will you be taking a trip to the beach this summer? Create a fun decorated beach pail for your child. You could let the decorated beach pail double as a fun and personalized container to hold snacks and small games or toys for long car rides this summer.
Green Frog Pail
Materials Needed:
Green Bucket
Green foam
White foam
Wiggly eyes
Craft glue
Green marker or green puffy paint
Instructions:
1. Cut the green foam into the shape of a frog face. I used this frog mask as a pattern. Cut two green foam eyes and two white foam eyes.
2. Using the craft glue, glue the largest face piece on to the green bucket. Now, glue the two green foam eyes on top of the top of the face piece. Give it a few minutes to set up and then glue on the two white foam eyes. Glue on the wiggle eyes.

3. Using a green marker or the green puffy paint, draw a mouth and nostrils for the frog.
Let the bucket dry a little while and you’re good to go!
Blue Polka Dot Pail
Materials:
Blue beach bucket
Pink and yellow paint pens
Instructions:
This is super easy and you could of course, change up the colors to use colors that your child likes. Using the paint pens, you just sporadically paint on little circles in alternate colors. Let it dry awhile and it’s done!
A Few Tips:
Get creative and make the bucket to fit your child’s likes and tastes.
You could stencil on shapes or use rub ons as well.
You could also put your child’s name on the bucket using letter stencils.
Keep in mind that some of these decorations may not with stand water. The paint pens I used on the blue bucket are water proof, but I don’t think the green foam would with stand water too well.
Most importantly, just get creative, get your child involved, and have fun doing it!
